My name is Norvel Stewart, I also go by DJ”. I recently graduated from the University Of Rhode Island; May 19, 2019- which is a Division 1A Program ( FCS) . Looking for an experience to travel to play football, see what else is out in this world. Giving back and helping kids who are less fortunate, adults as well- is my calling in life. Having the ability to learn new cultures, eats different foods, and meet people would be amazing.! Also I have coached players here in the United States in school, Sports, and thought kids about life lessons they will experience when they get older.

My four years at URI I played rumors positions, Wide Out my freshman year - 2015-2016 season, then I transitioned to Safety and Outside linebacker for the remaining tenure at URI. My freshman year at Wide Out I had Played in 10 games, including four starts at wide receiver
Finished the season with four catches for 36 yards. Also had five tackles on special teams
Had one catches for 7 yards at Towson (11/21)
Had one catch for 14 yards at New Hampshire (10/31)
Made one catch for 5 yards and had one special teams tackle against Richmond (10/17)
Had one tackle on special teams against Delaware (10/10)
Made one special teams tackle at Brown (10/3)
Had one tackle on special teams at Maine (9/26)
Made first career start at wide receiver at Albany (9/12)
Made collegiate debut, appearing on special teams at Syracuse in season opener (9/4)

Sophomore Year
Started all 11 games at safety
Finished the season with a team-high 86 tackles. Also led the team with two interceptions

Had six tackles and his second interception of the year, which he returned 25 yards, at Elon (11/12)
Led the defense with 11 tackles at James Madison (10/29)
